Begin Again
Finding the courage to let go of old dreams and birth something new
Thank you for being here
for waking up to this day
and making another cup of coffee
and being brave enough to begin again and again
and yet, again
Dear Courageous One,
It’s time to clear out space in your heart for new dreams to be birthed. Do you remember what it feels like? You’ve mothered a dream before. Place your hand upon your belly, close your eyes, and believe it’s not too late to begin again. You must release the old to receive the new. If you live in the memories of the good old dreams, you might miss the new life that wants to grow through you.
One morning I was reading on the couch while my daughter, Olivia, was building an intricate city of blocks on the floor. It took her quite a long time. After she finished a grand masterpiece, which included a city, a zoo, and a farm, she looked at me with a smirk and said “Now I’m going to knock it all down!” “No,” I said, “it’s so beautiful, and you worked hard on it.” She immediately replied “ I can always build something else.” And she began to tear it down, and I could see she immensely enjoyed knocking it all over, knowing she still has all the materials to build again whenever she wanted.
And so beloved, remember, you have everything you need. You always have more than enough material and building blocks to begin again. You can intentionally knock over old fulfilled dreams and begin something completely new. You have the freedom, the choice, to let it go, and then slowly and purposely, create again from scratch. That’s actually the fun of it. Do you remember how to have fun? The fun is in the creating; in the imagining, the building, the reinventing.
It was never a waste. You created something beautiful, and now you will create new beautiful things.
You are free to choose something else.
The fullness of time is here. It is now. You have permission to walk, skip, or run into the direction of your desires. There are no set limits. Relax into the realm of possibility. You can begin anywhere. What would be the most fun? What makes you feel alive? Imagine.
The odds are in your favor for you are being led by the Creator. It’s all possible. It’s all now. A new possibility is always available, if we have the courage to let go, and begin again.
With love,
Dyanna
